What's new with Emma Lynn?
I watched my first U of M game on tv at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I cheered very loudly. Go Blue!!!
In October, Grandma had a bonfire for her Red Hat Ladies. They are so funny. I dressed as a witch. Daddy and I both dressed up for Halloween. He was Pooh and I was his Honey Pot. How cute are we?
I'm still not crawling because I refuse. Mommy puts me on my tummy and tries to get me to crawl by bribing me with toys. I just roll around until I get them. I do not want to break a nail. I do, however, love to stand and can hold myself up with just a hand to steady me.

Travelin' Baby
I got to ride on a plane for the first time. A plane is basically a really big car with lots of people. Mommy and Daddy spent the entire ride entertaining me. When we got there, Mommy told me that I was really good for not crying and disturbing the other passengers. Other passengers? Silly Mommy, it is all about me.
Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Hilton and I went to Plymouth, Massachusetts first and another Uncle Mike picked us up. Mommy said it was her Uncle and my Great Uncle. I guess there are a lot of Mike's in our family. He was really funny. Uncle Mike is married to Grandma Hilton's sister, Aunt Judy. I like her. She's just like my Grandma, but she talks funny. We visited with all of her kids and their kids.
Did you know that there are hundreds of Morano's in Connecticut? Well, maybe not hundreds, but I can't count yet, so cut me some slack. I know this because we visited them for my Great Poppy's 80th Birthday. My second cousins, Allie and Jimmie kept me entertained for hours. They're really good listeners. I told them all about my trip so far. Great Grandpa's party was so much fun! A man with a camera took pictures of everyone. Of course, he couldn't get enough of me. Can you blame him?

Great Grandpa Morano and Me
All the Morano's

My Family
We were on the East Coast for week, then we came home and left for Florida two days later. Mommy, Grandma Hilton, and I helped Uncle Mikey (my favorite one) move to Daytona Beach, Florida. We drove this time. It was a really long trip. When we got there, we helped Uncle Mike set-up his apartment and buy furniture. I told him he really needed a jumparoo, but he didn't agree. He doesn't know what he's missing. Uncle Corey came from L.A. to help too. He taught me a new trick called "Raspberries". It doesn't have anything to do with fruit, but is spitting. He knows the best stuff. After we were done with all our hard work, we got to go meet Uncle Mikey's neighbors. It was probably the greatest moment of my life. Not that I have had many life changing moments, but it was definitely up there. Uncle Mikey lives by Mickey Mouse! How cool is that! Uncle Corey said he does too, but how is that possible? It must be his summer house. Do you think Mickey Mouse is a snow bird like Uncle Butch?
I met Eeyore, Pooh, and Tigger...
...the Beast...
...and Nemo and Dori.
We visited other countries too.I was so excited.
I had a great visit with my new friends and my uncles. I miss them both.

Danish Dandy?
Later, I went back downtown with my Mommy and her friend Annie. We met my friends Annie and Will and their mommy, Erin, and daddy, Steve. There were so many kids everywhere. I've never seen so many in one place. M

Busy Bees...
I finally cut my first tooth and have started eating rice cereal. Mommy says that in a month I'll be able to eat some fruit. I'd rather have my bottle, which I can hold on my own for a little while. I do enjoy spitting the cereal at Mommy. I wonder if this fruit stuff will get the same distance. I'll let you know.
I haven't began crawling yet, but I rock back and forth to gain momentum. I can't wait to be able to go places on my own. There is a bookshelf with my name on it. I like to stand a lot and try to get my big people to hold me as much as possible. You'd think that they'd learn what they need to do by now, but I'm still teaching them. I have discovered kicking. I have some toys that make noise when I kick, so I just kick the heck out of them. I love it! I might be soccer super star when I grow up.
I am now big enough to play with my have woof woofs (as Daddy calls them). Annie lives at
I also had my first photo shoot this month. They made me wear my itchy Easter dress and put me in a basket. Some lady pointed one of those camera things at me. (Mommy is always clicking one at me.) She was pretty entertaining, so I gave her smile. A lot of Mommy and Daddy's friends stopped in to see me while I was getting my picture taken. Daddy says I'm the next Gerber baby. It's funny because I thought I was a Morano baby.
